We at CK’s believe our business should be part of the solution and not part of the problem. We recycle everything: metals, glass, paper and cardboard. Our used cooking oil goes to the local science teacher for his bio-fuel car. The vegetable scraps become compost for our garden; our paper products are made from wheat or recycled paper. 15% of our energy is produced by our rooftop solar panels and solar hot water is on the way soon. Many of us commute to work on foot or by bike. Our food comes from several local farms and ranches and we purify our drinking water. Our goal is fresh healthy food that will feed you body and your soul
An independently owned and operated dinner house we are open all year. Using local and regional foods, and drawing inspiration from different cuisines around the world, we create tasty and healthy dishes to complement our extensive wine list. Our menu changes a little bit all the time depending on the season but some items do not change because of their popularity.
Chris is in the kitchen most nights and oversees all menu development with the help of his great staff. Ck’s is a family affair with Gavin and Simone, their grown up children having a hand in the operation too. Simone makes all the desserts and works at night in the kitchen. Gavin works in the kitchen and on the dining room side as well. The Kastners have a strong local following that enjoy and appreciate the tasty and healthy cuisine CK’s brings to their tables every time they come to dine.
